Um vídeo feito por uma cadeia de supermercados está levando milhões de pessoas às lágrimas com sua mensagem emocionante. O filme, uma peça feita pela cadeia de lojas alemã Edeka, de cerca de 1 minuto e meia, mostra um pai tentando passar o Natal com os filhos. O final da história é de cortar o coração.
O vídeo teve mais de 20 milhões de visualizações em apenas quatro dias após ser lançado.
No início, o filme apresenta um pai, solitário e idoso, passando um Natal com seu cão, longe da família. Triste, ele recebe um recado da filha dizendo que ela não vai poder passar a data com ele e os netos. Isso acontece em outros dias 25 de dezembro.
Na sequência, parentes, incluindo filhos e netos do velhinho, recebem uma notícia terrível: o homem tinha morrido. O vídeo mostra então os familiares chorando, com remorso. Veja o vídeo:
